On October 14, 2019, we had the soft opening of “The Studio Experience” featuring the art of Stephanie George. The opening of the Studio Experience began in January 2019 when we acquired the space (PHOTO OF OLD SPACE). However, the journey that led to the opening began many years before the acquisition of the gallery space. Stephanie George has been creating her artwork for years even given her young age. She has produced a range of artwork—her Sugar Skull piece, for example, an early work is quite different than Cherry Ice or Gaze. The year 2019 was a year of unforeseen personal challenges for all of us. The artist produced Cherry Ice in that most difficult period—diving into her work.
I have had a life full of experiences that have culminated to the collection of art you see at the gallery. I have created a photography studio and art studio within an art gallery. It is an expression of my eclectic creativity, my life and my vision. The art collections are from various artists – modern to antique. The journey to opening the gallery in October 2019 came from exciting, difficult, and emotional experiences culminating to an artistic creation itself. I am very proud of this gallery on so many levels. I look forward to see what more is coming as this journey continues…
