Stephanie Detmer
Stephanie Detmer was born in Houston, Texas in 1967. She has been
married for 20 years. Their son and daughter, seven grandchildren, four
dogs, nine horses, 100 plus cattle, chickens and exotics keep them very
busy. Stephanie also competes– with her horse, fishing, golf and, paddle board.
Since she can remember, she has always loved to draw and paint. In junior
high, she took art classes and learned different mediums like silkscreen,
etching, and clay. Her honors and awards include: National Art Honor
Society Zebra silkscreen in 1981; Second place at the Houston Livestock
Show and Rodeo 1982 and 1983.
In addition to painting on canvas, her medium also includes skulls and deer
mounts!
